Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist

A Licensed and ASHA Certified Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist and founder of Speech Therapy & Education Professionals, LLC. Megan saw the need in the Bradenton/Sarasota area for a dedicated Bilingual Speech and Language Therapy & Education Center.  Megan received her Masters of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University and two Bachelors of Science degrees one in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a concentration in Speech-Language Sciences, and the other in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida. She graduated from all institutions with honors. Megan strongly believes in a holistic approach to treatment across multiple settings/environment. Her therapy sessions are structured around a naturalistic playful environment. She strives to bring out the highest potential of her patients. Megan is PROMPT trained, certified in Interactive Metronome and trained on the Orton-Gillingham methodologies where she is capable of assisting emerging readers with foundational reading skills and early school-age children who struggle with literacy development. In addition, Megan has experience in the evaluation and treatment of receptive-expressive language delays, apraxia, dysarthria, dysphagia, articulation, oral motor disorders, feeding difficulties, fluency, pragmatic/social issues, and reading/literacy difficulties related to a variety of diagnoses. Her love for people and their well being motivates Megan to go above and beyond for all her patients' needs. 

Megan received an ACE Award (Award for Continuing Education). The ACE is a formal recognition on behalf of ASHA given to professionals who have demonstrated their commitment to lifelong learning. 

ASHLEY MILLS, MS CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

A Licensed and ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Ashley received her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She has experience working with children in the inpatient, outpatient, and school settings. Ashley is certified in the SOS Approach to Feeding and is skilled in the evaluation and treatment of dysphagia, feeding difficulties, oral motor disorders, apraxia, articulation disorders, fluency, receptive-expressive language disorders, and pragmatic language disorders. Ashley is very passionate about working with children and strives to enhance the lives of her patients and their families.

KRISTINA PEREZ, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

A Licensed and NBCOT Certified Occupational Therapist. Kristina received her Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine.  She has extensive experience working in sensory integration clinics and school-based services. She is passionate about working with children and is skilled in various  techniques. Kristina is certified in Interactive Metronome, an alternative treatment for ADHD and learning issues.Kristina is also trained in sensory-based feeding difficulties as well as handwriting without tears. She builds strong relationships with clients and their families. Kristina strives to reach her clients' highest potential by involving families/caregivers to carry over techniques across settings/environments.

ALALABETH RAMIREZ, MS CF-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Alalabeth is a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist who is completing her Clinical Fellowship year and working  towards her ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence. Alalabeth received her Masters of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida. Alalabeth graduated with highest honors from both Universities. Alalabeth has experience with both pediatric and adult populations. She has experience working with a variety of diagnoses and treatment approaches specifically working with expressive/receptive language disorders, pragmatics, autism, dysphagia, articulation disorders, dysarthria, aphasia, and cognition. Alalabeth strives to make a difference in the lives of her patients and help them reach their fullest potential. 

MADISON PETTY, BA SLPA

Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant. Madison is currently completing her Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Gannon University.  She received her bachelor’s degree from Baylor University where she also completed a minor in Spanish. Madison has experience working with children of all ages, as well as experience abroad in both Guatemala and Zambia, Africa. Madison provides therapy services in both English and Spanish. She is extremely passionate about working with children and helping them to be the best they can be! 

JENNIFER BUSCHINI, COTA

Occupational Therapy Assistant

Jennifer is a licensed and NBCOT certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She received her Associate of Science degree from Keiser University and also has a Bachelors degree in Health Science from the University of South Florida. She is zealous about working with children and helping them to reach their full potential. She strives to create solid relationships with her clients and their families. Like her fellow team members, Jennifer deeply believes in a holistic approach to treatment across multiple settings/environment. Her first-hand experience with Autism in her family is the motivation that encouraged Jennifer to become a COTA so she could positively impact children’s lives for the better.
